Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

  Hello, I have a windows 11 OS and a HP Deskjet 3747 an older printer usb connected not wireless. Is my os compatible with this printer? I cant find a driver for it. Please advise thanks

(1) Connect a USB cable between Deskjet printer and computer:

(2) Then try to install with HP Print Doctor:

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.

Yeah, it should work with Windows 11, but HP doesn’t have official drivers for it anymore. You can try using the Windows built-in driver when you plug it in, go to “Printers & scanners” and click “Add a printer.” If it doesn’t auto-detect, try adding it manually and look for “HP DeskJet 3700 series” or a similar generic driver. It might not have full features, but basic printing should work.
