Product: HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought HP Deskjet 3755 All in one. Plugged in the darn thing. Ideally I would use a USB connection, but I'll suffer wifi if needed. Windows says the driver is unavailable. Can't print anything. Installed HP Smart. Garbage app won't let me explicitly install drivers and the diagnostic tool says everything is fine when it is really obvious that everything is not fine. If I tell garbage app to print a test page it prints. If I tell garbage app to print a pdf nothing happens. If I print from other programs nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app. I have restarted MANY times. I have followed the "root uninstall" instructions online to no avail. This includes https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Mobile-Printing-Cloud-Printing/Deskjet-3755-Wifi-Direct-quot-Driver-Un... . I have installed and run HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0.10 it can print an "internal test page", but when I click the Print Test button nothing happens and it says "that's odd" and gives up. Points me back to garbage and unhelpful HP Smart.

IF anybody actually knows how to fix this I would deeply appreciate it. It constantly amazes me that 25 years ago I could buy a printer, install the driver and it WORKED! Now this is apparently impossible.
