I have an HP Deskjet F2430 that will not work with my Macbook Air Venutra 13.0.1, any advice on drivers to download to get the printer to communicate with my mac? I have it connected via usb, it shows up on my screen as a printer to add, but when I attempt to do anything like print, nothing happens. For a brief second I see the print request show up in the printer queue and it quickly disappears. Anyone have a similar situation and how did they resolve? HP doesn't seem to have the drivers available to download for this printer, likely because it is an older model.
I tested the printer with an older laptop (windows OS) and it did work, but it doesn't work with my new mac laptop which is the laptop I'll be using. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi @sanf1
1. Please download and install HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:
2. Then go to Preferences > Printers then Add the printer
* Click on YES button to say thanks,
