HP Deskjet 3637
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a printer HP 3637, that I had bought in United states. I returned to India in 2019 and brought the printer with me.

The cartridge for the same is finished and and I had ordered HP 680 cartridge that works with HP 3636 printer. Reading some online links, I got that the cartridge would work with HP 3637.

However, now when I put the cartridge 680 into the printer. It gives an error as "Incompatible Cartridge". I read that changing the region code may help get rid of the problem. However, the region code can be obtained only from HP Support. I am not able to contact them as my warranty is expired.

Can someone tell me options on how to get the problem fixed?

@Ashish_Choudhar, Welcome to HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
