macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hello, HP Community.

Our out of the box iMac can print, via our network, on our, but can't scan.

So I'm attempting to download HP Easy Scan but, even though I get to the point of pressing the install icon & of install window with progress bar appearance, nothing else happens. The progress bar doesn't move after 5,10 & 15 minutes. And when I manually try to quit, I'm told that I can't until the installation is completed.

I have 2012 & 2013 iMacs, both with Catalina, that can scan from this printer but, if I ever did download a driver, Catalina wasn't installed at that time.

Can you help me?

Hi,

HP Easy Scan is not currently supported on Catalina.

 

Please follow HP Easy Start to install the HP Essential Software for your printer, then you may scan using Image Capture:
