I have been having multiple problems installing and connecting to my wireless network. Every time I tried to install the software I was unable to select the printer because it showed no driver. I did this about 10 times and was finally able to uninstall everything unplug the printer reinstall and start up and finally it allowed me to connect using the HP Print and Scan doctor. I was able to print a test page from the printer itself maually however when I tried to print from my computer I only got an error. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled all hardware and soft ware multiple times including unplugging the printer between installs.. I am still getting a print error without a code when I try and print anything. I am not a novice and I understand computers this however is driving me out of my mind. I have checked all settings IP addresses and so on and everything is as its supposed to be I am able to print to this device from my other computer which I installed the printer on a few weeks ago without a problem my other computer is almost identical to this one except its running windows 10 pro instead of regular windows 10 all other things are equal..

Hi @alanjas,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are unable to connect your HP Printer on the wireless network.
This issue could occur if the wireless setup is not correct.
Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.
First, you need to restore the network to defaults on the printer and then connect it to the network.
To restore network defaults:
1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status menu.
2. Press the button next to Settings to access the Wireless Settings menu.
3. Select Restore Defaults.
4. Confirm the selection to restore defaults.
Now you may follow the steps in the link: Wireless Printer Setup (Windows)
Let me know how this works.
You have a good day ahead.

Thank you for responding to my question. I think you misunderstood what is going on. I have two computers a printer and wireless network. One computer is Running Windows 10 ProAnd the one I'm trying to connect is Running Windows 10. They're both top-of-the-line laptops and have no other issues. I am able to connect and prints from my Windows Pro 10 computer the Printer are seen in the network and is discoverable. However when I try and do anything with the second computer I keep hitting a wall. I have installed uninstalled reset the network placed everything back to factory settings but am and able to connect and select the printer.
Clean install from software downloaded from 123.hp.com/envy 4510 the install of the software took a lot longer than usual which was unexpected and longer than my other computer.Once I run the program and it finishes installing an icon is seen on the desktop which says HP envy 4510 series. However when I try and print a picture or anything else I go to select printer and the printer is not on my list. I then discover the printer from that list install and I have to type in the IP address for the printer. After that I get a message saying drivers not installed and I am unable to select the HP envy 4510 as my Default printer. I've done this multiple times in multiple different orders including shutting the computer down restarting the computer after each step and I'm still not able to load the software correctly.

Hi @alanjas,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are facing issues with only one computer which does not communicate with the printer.
This issue could occur if the drivers are not installed properly.
Let's go through a few steps to uninstall and reinstall the drivers:
Step 1: Uninstall the Drivers:
Please follow the steps provided to uninstall the printer software in the link: Uninstalling the Printer Software (Windows)
Also, please follow the steps provided below to completely remove the printer software from printer properties.
Steps to remove printer driver files from Print Server Properties:
- Open the Print Server Properties dialog window by doing one of the following:
- Click the Start menu and in the search field type 'printui /s /t2' (without the quotes), and then press Enter or click it in the search list.
- Press WINDOWS-R on the keyboard to bring up the Run window, type in 'printui /s /t2' (without the quotes), and then press Enter or click OK.
- From the Start menu or the Start screen:
- Open Devices and Printers.
- Select any printer and then click "Print server properties" at the top of the window.
- Click on the Drivers tab.
- Select the printer driver you wish to uninstall.
- Click the Remove button.
- Select "Remove driver and driver package" and click OK.
Step 2: Download and install the Drivers from the link: Full Feature Software and Drivers
Let me know how this works.
You have a good day ahead.

Hi,
as @Rainbow23 is out of the office today, I'm replying to you. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I understand that when you try to delete the drivers, there is an error message that the printer is in use. I suggest you to check if there are any print jobs in the print queue. The print queue icon appears towards the bottom right corner. Double click on the print queue icon and clear and print jobs.
Once you clear the print queue, please try to delete the drivers. If the issue persists then try to restart the computer once and then try to delete the drivers again.
I hope this information helps. Keep me posted. Good luck!

I checked the Print que it is empty. I shut down and restarted and still Print que is empty. I go to the Device & Scanner control page and select printers I then select the printer HP Envy from my list, I have checked all the other printer options to see if one of them had something in their print que, again they are all empty. I then select the printer when I do It says that the printer is offline so I click on troubleshoot, this then runs the troubleshooter which tells me the printer is offline so I click fix it then reports that this is fixed, I then attempted to print again I get an error. I then shut down and restart and do the same thing again but shut down and restart before I try and print and again the same error. I then go and look at my printer ports when I do I see that LPT1 and LPT2 have printers assigned the first is an HPB86FD6 HP ENVY 4510 SERIES, then Second has HPB86FD6 HP ENVY 4510 SERIES (COPY1) and then the WSD port has HPB86FD6 HP ENVY 4510 SERIES which is the one that my first computer that is running Windows 10 pro has and is able to print to this printer.... The first two were set up when I tried installing the printer previously I removed those printers from my Device & Scanner printer list and have since gone into programs and uninstalled and reinstalled prior to where I am now but they still appear on the on the port list... I also shut down and restarted each time I did that... I checked to see if the printer was shared on my other computer and it is.. I checked if it was shared on this computer and it is.. I tried not sharing it makes not difference I still get the error message I have again uninstaled everything and reinstalled with shutting down and restarting each time and again I have the exact same problem when I go to print I get that the printer is offline on the devices list so I run the trouble shooter which fixes it and turns it on I then try and print and I get the error message. I tried going back into the printui/s and deleting and I get the same message that it is being used and I cannot delete .....
