Hi
Printer Type HP ENVY 6010
Everytime I try to print on both sides of 6X4 card the printer display and error and when i hit the X button on the printer it ejects the card. This has happened in both Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
So my question is the printer able to print on this size paper in duplex and if so what could be the issue.
I did suspect it could be the quality of the card but it print fine in simplex mode.
Also what is the ideal quality 6X4 card in terms of weight for this printer.
Thanks in advance for any help
Regards

What to do?
If you have not done so,
Install the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software
The full driver printer software provides support and access to the printer features, including Printing Preferences and Shortcuts.

What else?
Sure, could be the quality of the paper.
Check your card paper against the ISO standard for Index paper.
Quality is less likely a cause for concern when using a high-quality paper (HP or other high-end brand).
Paper Type and Weight
Card Paper - "Index" type
Weight up to 200 gsm.
Brochure paper is typically 180 gsm and is generally one of the papers used for duplex / 2-sided printing.
If your card is closer to the weight of brochure paper and not quite so close to the upper card paper weight limit, it might have a better chance of printing duplex.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
After reading the information you supplied i conclude that the printer should be able to print on both sides would you agree?
Is it possible to get more information on the error the printer just displays a "E" and ejects the paper.
Thanks again for your help.

You are welcome.
Honestly, my agreement would mean nothing - I've never used an Envy 6000 printer .
Error Troubleshooting:
HP DeskJet, ENVY 6000, 6400 Printers - Blinking Lights
and
Page 99
NOTE: This may not be helpful - the list shows the "E" would be accompanied by an error number.
For those reading - a review:
- The full driver printer software provides access and support to the printer features.
- The printer must know what size and type of paper is loaded and expected for the current job
- The software used to view and submit the job must be able to assign the setup - Printing Preferences / Shortcuts must be adjusted for - and accept - the combination for the current job setup
Examples / Details

Yeah, but - not working...
Printing Preferences is apparently not able to accept the job setup combination for this paper size / type / duplex.
"Should" is frequently not the same and "will".
Perhaps I am missing something about what you are doing.
