Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY Photo 7855 updated software now the printer won't start past the first dot and full line. trouble shooting says the software and rivers are gone computer does not see the printer to install the software, how do install the software to the printer, please

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your notebook screen is frozen, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
