One-page Word document prints fine when printing a *single* copy. When sending to the printer to print 2 or more copies of the same document, the job briefly flashes by the print queue, then disappears. Nothing printed (not even a single copy), no error message. There is no "mopier mode" in my device setting installable options.
It worked fine up until about a week ago, and I did not intentionally or knowingly make any configuration changes. (Windows Update did reently install KB5028412, KB5028937, KB5029649, and KB5029244, in case one of these may be the culprit, though none of them mention printing as an area addressed.)

Sorry I'm just seeing this now -- the HP alert ended up in my email Spam folder. No, this does not address the issue, not even the general area. The document you linked is for *copying* errors, and my problem is with *printing*. Did you simply link to the wrong web page? Or not even read my post?

Hi @Nevet,
Apologies. Have you tried making a Standalone copy and check if you still have the same issue?
- Have you tried printing different documents like PDF, Word, Emails, and check?
Power resetting the printer, updating the printer firmware and may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:
Step 1: Reset the printer
1. With the printer turned on, remove the ink cartridges, and disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to learn different methods of updating the printer firmware.
Download and run HP Diagnostic tool
Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to automatically identify and resolve the issue.
Try to Print.
Step 4: Align the cartridges
On the printer control panel, Go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Align Cartridges.
Proceed to the next step if the issue persists.
Step 5: Clean uninstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, and restart the computer.
Let me know how this goes.
