Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

My scanner died on my HPOfficeJetPro 7740 - so I bought an identical machine and just installed it.

The "HP Easy Svan" app worked fine on the previous machine, but I can't get it to work on this one. 

"Hp Easy Scan" is way better for my scanning needs than HP Smart - more advanced features for me.

Any suggestions as to why it worked on the same printer model a week ago but not on the new one today?
