I am unable to print from my computer. I can print from my phone and tablet but for some reason when I try to print any document/PDF from my computer then I just get an error saying it couldn't print the document. In the print queue then the document status is "Error - Printing". I've downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor program but after going through that program then it tells me that there is an error with the printer software and I need to uninstall the software and then re-install it. I click the button to uninstall the software and then go to the link provided in the Print and Scan Doctor program to re-install the software, but after the re-installation of the software I get the same issue. Looking online then I noticed that several people have gotten this issue and they were given the instructions found in this link. When I follow those instructions then it still doesn't resolve the problem. I've found several different versions of those instructions online and followed each one and it still doesn't resolve the issue. I've uninstalled and installed the software 6 or 7 times. Reset my printer several times and still cannot print from my computer.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be?

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer, this is a specific version that should likely help

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
