HP Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I use a HP Probook with Windows 10 and a HP Envy 4520, wireless connected. Since few days before I could print in Colour. Now only the testside is in perfect colour but no text or Picture (word or PDF) is printed in colour. I actually installed the driver from the HP Website, but there is no possibility to choose "colour" or "grayscale" or "black". It would be great if someone knows the answer. Many thanks.

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.

Vielen Dank für die Antwort, ich habe das probiert. Leider bin ich irgendwo stecken geblieben. Ich habe dann den Drucker komplett deinstalliert, neuen Treiber runtergeladen und nochmals installiert. Jetzt druckt der Drucker wenigstens wieder in Farbe. Allerdings habe ich nach wie vor das Problem, dass der PC den Drucker sehr häufig nicht findet, obwohl ein ausreichendes WLAN-Symbol vorhanden ist. Manchmal hilft dann eine "Problembehebung " aus der Systemsteuerung, manchmal hilft es den Drucker mehrfach aus-/einzuschalten oder sonst irgendwelche Spielereien. Ich habe schön langsam den Verdacht, dass da hardwaremäßig was nicht ganz in Ordnung ist ...

Nochmals vielen Dank.  Ich denke, irgendwo war trotzdem Dein Vorschlag der richtige, denn deinstalliert und neu installiert habe ich ja vorher auch schon.
