I have the same problem as this person in the above thread and would like the same solution.

Are you able to copy in color?

 

Have you tried the steps mentioned in the post whose link you sent? This is a driver issue.

The printer can print and copy in color, as long as I do it on the printer, not from the computer. If I send a document to the printer from the computer, the printer driver from HP does not give me the option of printing in color.
