HP ENVY 4527 All-in-One Printer

Hi.

Can I print on Cardstock for HP Envy 4527?.

If so, what is the max gsm?

Also, on paper type on the screen , I can choose

Plain, Photo, Speciality Glossy and Speciality Matte.

Presumably choose Matte?  Anything else I need to alter?

Thank you in advance

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

HP defines "card" paper as "HP Card" - type Index > Up to 200 g/m2 (110 lb index)

Of the paper types available, look for / select

Specialty Matte

Brochure matte

In general, "Card" paper does not support all options.

For example, there might be restrictions (unavailable options) based on paper size.

Windows >> The full driver printer software is generally smart enough to issue a "conflict" error if you enter an option that is incompatible with another.   Specifically, options like duplex and borderless are restricted on paper size and type.

Mobile >> Paper Size & Type must be selected / adjusted before the content is opened - Tray and Paper

NOTE to those reading >> Windows >> For those printers and software that support the HP Smart Printing driver option, conflicts are eliminated -- the driver includes an algorithm that matches compatible options with what the printer supports.
