HP Envy 5032 Peinting Sooooooo Slowly

Identical to @cowgirls cowgirls issue bellow. I wish I could see the private msg she recieved as I have tried all I know to fix the issue. Even when offline and simply printing a quality report from the printer display, it will take over five minutes to complete. Would really appreciate any help. Thank you

My Envy 4520 all-in-one printer started printing extremely slow...I checked support and followed all the steps that were suggested. First I did the unplugging, waiting and then re-plugging it in that didn't work so I went to the next step. I have done everything I can think of to do so need some help!! I have already updated all drivers and firmware. Checked all settings even went into preferences and changed from normal to draft, still printed slow. Then I uninstalled and then re-installed driver and firmware, tried printing again and it is still printing very slow....totally frustrated

Even a a task like cleaning the cartridge usually takes around a minute, is now taking over 10 minutes to complete, and thats before the quality page has started to print.

This printer is less than 5 months old 😞

I understand the printer is slow in performing tasks. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Slow Printing (Windows)

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue with the printer. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Dear HP Support.

Can someone please show me how to downgrade firmware on my HP Envy 5032 please?

• I have tried all suggested steps, from unplugging for 10 seconds and factory reset, to updating drivers and checking network settings etc. The printer still prints ridiculously slow.
• The printer works, but takes about 15 seconds for the cartridges to start to move across the paper once. Then its another 15 second wait before the cartridges swiftly moves across paper printing. Then another 15 second wait for it to move again.... You get the picture right? I just wish my HP printer got the picture quicker as it did with previous firmware possibly
• Please show me how to downgrade firmware. Thank you
