HP Recommended

I tried to scan using HP Smart and it does not recognise my printer. So I downloaded the doctor, which said I needed to update. 

 

I then tried to update the firmware by downloading it to my computer, but every time I try, it shows an error and tells me to turn off the printer and try again. 

 

I have tried resetting the printer by unplugging it etc, and nothing works. 

 

Any ideas?
