Dell laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have installed my brand new HP Envy 5032 all in one printer severla times, with the help from the several help programs on the HP site as well as things mentioned here on the forum.

The printer is connected trhough the wifi and installed on the laptop properly according to the HP Smart app and doctor app. But I can only print pdf files through the HPsmart app, if I try to print through another program like Word, nothing happens. No print job will apear in the print queue. This is very frustrating!! How can I fix this?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Hi Betty,

I have done this already and did not work. I have had contact with HP's helpdesk through WhatsApp and everything works except printing from Outlook or Office. I have tried to get help from MS, but that seems to mission impossible. Hopefully someone knows hwo to fix the issue. I am working with Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit version and Office365.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Office. Also, you can create a local account and see if you can print from there: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-acc...

@Betty0610

I have reinstalled Office already, used the extensive repair function under programs and features as well.

I work with Windows 10 Enterprise and it is my work laptop. The odd thing is that co-workers whom have an Epson printer have no issues at all.

I am about to return the Envy 5032 and get an Epson printer, as it is very annoying to have to convert everythinh to a PDF file before I can print it.

This is an Operating System or an application issue. Changing the Printer will not help in this case as you're able to print other documents.

I suggest you create a local account as given in my previous post.

Thanks 🙂

I will give it a try, unfortunately did not have the time yet to do so.

But our IT manager siad that he had heard about the problem before, but never had any trouble with other brands.
