HP Envy 5530
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Envy 5530 printer that has been offline for a while.

I tried to use it today, but if I added the wireless detail, it crashed with a brief blue screen with a power icon and the error code B3000004, after which it says there was a problem, turn it off and on.

I subsequently connected the printer to my computer via USB cable and then updated the firmware.

Now the printer will crash when trying to set wireless and generally trying to do anything to it.

I'm wondering if there is a solution to this issue, before I take it to the dump.

@GrumpyChops, Welcome to HP Support Community!

This looks like a hardware issue. Refer to the document '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays for details.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, removing the cartridges and pulling power seems to have resolved the error code.

Before the instant ink cartridge disallowed printing anymore (it is no longer enrolled) I noted that the printer was picking up several sheets of paper at one time when printing. Is there an easy fix for this or is this printer still destined for the dump?

I'm not keen on buying new cartridges for it, if it has another problem.
