Computer is HP Pavilion p6110f Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Computer and printer seem to be working fine (except for the loud noise the rollers make when pushing out a printed page) other than that, my problem is that I want/need to print an image transfer in "mirror image" and there is no icon or tool on my printer software that will allow me to set that up.
I read some question and answer on an HP Forum link/site of some kind as it was on the search engine page that came up when I input my request for information on my Printer regarding mirror image. It seemed that several others had the same question.
The HP Forum volunteer said that I could print in Mirror Image if I downloaded HP Photo Creations. I have not done that nor have I wanted to though I was urged to quite often by HP after I purchased this printer.
So, I followed his suggestion and downloaded the software program only to discover that the screenshot he had posted on the search engine displaying the HP Photo Creations page with the mirror image option on it, was NOT what I saw on the page I was looking at of HP Photo Creations.
I scanned the Q&A on the software and the frequently asked questions and could not find an answer so I wrote to the Cust. Support Dept. Right after I submitted my queston, more information popped up on the screen including information about Mirror Image. It said I was to look for it on the screen under the "advanced" item and then click on Mirror Image. Well, I tried that but there was no "advanced" item on my screen. So, I wrote again to the Cust Serv. Dept and after I submitted my comment I somehow found the information that Mirror Image was only available if I purchased the Premium Software Package for $10. I was very disappointed and also disgusted over all the time I wasted on this and the fact that I felt like a victim of "Bait and Switch" This is exactly what many other merchants do. They get people hooked in with promises or misleading information only for them to find out that if they want what they thought they were going to get all along, they would have to pay a PRICE.
What I want to know now, is there a work around for this one function on my printer? I do not want what ever that Premium Package entails and I only need to use the mirror image function ONE TIME for an image transfer for my neice's birthday. I think I should just buy another printer from a different manufacturer and make sure they have that function, as I don't want to go through the runaround and spend any more time on this.
I know that this is not the fault or the problem of anyone on this forum, I just wanted my comment noted and if there IS any "convenient" way to get a mirror image when I do this one print, I would be exceedingly grateful to hear about it.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Good Day. Thank you for taking an interest in the HP community. I understand that you require assistance regarding issues printing mirror images. I will be really glad to assist you here. 🙂
Fabulous description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this:
- Did you check the printer settings?
- What app is being used to print?
For now, try these steps:
- Please perform a hard reset on the printer from this link: https://hp.care/2Lhprde and follow instructions from the section “Step 1: Reset the printer”
The quickest and easy way to print mirror images is to just flip them. This way, you can print on any printer.
I suggest that you scan your image and save it and then open the image in Microsoft Paint. In the Paint program, you can then flip the image (mirror) so that it gives you the reversed view.
- For further assistance, please perform all the prescribed steps from this link: https://hp.care/2Lf7Oux (HP Printers - Printing HP Iron-On Transfers (Mirror Images) and follow steps relevant to Windows.

- Step 2: Create a mirror image of the original design
- Step 3: Print the transfer
- Step 4: Prepare the iron and ironing surface

This should fix the issue for you.
Perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. Good luck to you. I will keep a watch for your response. It is paramount to assist you as you are a valued HP customer.

Hello Ty.
No additional purchase is required to print mirrored images with HP Photo Creations.
To flip your image horizontally:
- Click Print.
- Scroll down the screen and open the Advanced Settings.
- Select the Mirror Page checkbox. (See screenshot.)
The preview image will show the mirrored effect.
My guess is that you didn't scroll far enough down the page to see the Advanced Settings. Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you,
