Microsoft Windows 11

I've this HP Envy 5660 for years and it works great. I just got a new HP Envy laptop but I can't them to connect either via a USB or the bluetooth. I've installed the drivers and done all the trouble shooting that the virtual assistant provided and I can print if I'm USB connected but that's it. I can't scan to the laptop or get it to print via bluetooth. Help!

Hi@Smicg,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Envy won't connect to new laptop.

I have a few recommendations

  • Power on the HP ENVY 4520 printer by pressing down its Power button Step 2:When the printer turns on, unplug its power cable from the appropriate port or the electrical outlet. Step 3: Disconnect the USB cable, if connected. Step 4: Wait for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present. Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Envy printer entries and uninstall them. Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device. Restart your computer.
  • Switch off your HP printer and wait a few minutes, and then start to restart it if HP Printer not connecting to network on a laptop. Make sure that while connecting your printer to your laptop using a USB cable, the USB cable is not damaged and the connection is secure.
  • Open the Dashboard on the printer's control panel and choose Settings. Tap the Wireless icon and the Wireless Summary screen displays. Now select HP Envy 5660 Wireless Setup Wizard and choose the network. Enter the password and tap Connect.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
