Hi,

The printer uses HP Instant Ink but has not been able to connect to the internet for a few weeks, although it is successfully connected to Wifi and I can print locally to it. Power off/on does not fix internet connection, so I tried a factory reset. This cam back connected to the internet, but shows an OE error signifying ink cartridge problems. I suspect it's because it need re-registering got HP instant ink, but I'm unable to get a code to set this up.

@SimonMc, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to use the printer. Resetting the printer is not recommended as the printer is enrolled in Instant Ink. E0 error is because the printer is not able to work with Instant Ink cartridges as the printer is not connected to Instant Ink anymore due to the reset performed.

Yes, a claim code is required to re-enroll the printer in Instant Ink. The printer cannot print a claim code in this situation.

Kindly contact the Instant Ink department in your region for assistance. The contact information can be found on the home page of Instant Ink. Click here or go to HP Instant Ink support
