HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I just got this HP Envy 6555e printer and it IS connected to WiFi and it will print PDF documents, but will not print directly from Google Suites from my HP laptop, but will print from the app, however, I am the person with a million things on the Google Drive, so it's hard to find on the app, easier on the computer.

When I send a job I can see it in the queue, but it just cycles and cycles. The HP Universal Print window pops up (usually BLANK) but when I close it, the print job in cancelled. UGH. And there is a DIRE WARNING that if I disable the Universal Print, my printer will be useless (more useless?)

I thought might be the VPN (last printer couldn't print with it active) so I turned that off but no luck. This is so annoying. Any suggestions?

Didn't help. The link you provided is outdated and couldn't find my printer (already connected to WiFi). So I found an updated EasyStart package that eventually found the printer via IP address, but STILL DIDN"T FIX THE ISSUE.  I want the printer to accept jobs from Google Suites. PDF downloads are a hack/band aid. Doesn't resolve the fact the printer isn't behaving properly. Not my first HP anything. HOWEVER- I am not a super tech person- I have an HP laptop. When I go to the installed apps, there are several HP apps. How am I to know (other than universal print) what is for my printer and what is for my laptop?
