Hi @Hicky39,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Windows 11 can change the default printer when Let Windows manage my default printer is enabled. Please turn off that setting and manually select the HP ENVY 6155e:

  1. Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  2. Under Printer preferences, turn off Let Windows manage my default printer.
  3. Select HP ENVY 6155e from the printer list.
  4. Select Set as default. The printer status should change to Default.
  5. Restart the computer and check whether the printer remains selected.

If the Set as default button is not displayed, confirm that Let Windows manage my default printer is turned off.

You can also follow the official HP Support video: How to set an HP printer as the default printer in Windows 11: (1) How to set an HP printer as the default printer in Windows 11 #shorts - YouTube.

If the printer continues to be removed as the default, open Printers & scanners, remove any duplicate entries for the HP ENVY 6155e, and then retain and set the working printer entry as the default.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
