Yesterday, I recieved this Printer in the mail, and I proceeded to set it up. All the tape and all the cardboard has been removed. Then I proceeded to plug the device in, and nothing happened. It makes noise, but the screen doesn't turn on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in 30+ seconds, and nothing. Not even Pressing the Power Button Works! I don't know if it's the cord itself, or if the Outlet is the problem. The Outlet is WORKING, but I never had any problems with my old printer. Any Ideas on how to fix this? I'll be happy to provide more info If I can...
Notes:
1. I have yet to connect my Device to the printer because the problem is occurring prior to setup
2. This is one of 3 HP Printers (one of which I actually own) that are in the household
3. I only have two (technically four because there are two 3-Prongs on each side) outlets in my room.

Hi @Flaretale52,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document: HP Printer does not turn on
