HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer

I was recently reloading the paper tray on my HP Envy and this part seemingly came out of nowhere. Does anyone recognize it? It doesn’t appear broken or fractured, so I assume it should be able to click back in place, but I have no idea where it belongs.  Any help would be appreciated!

Is that ink in the middle of the part? Almost looks like  spittoon used to collect waste ink which means it would be somewhere under the travel path of the printhead.

Hi - thanks for the reply! I checked the piece. No ink on the inside, it appears to be some kind of manufacturing stamp.
