Hi @Dog31,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've switched your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and your HP Envy Pro 6455 printer is not reconnecting to the new Wi-Fi network, you may need to update the Wi-Fi settings on your printer. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is turned on and has paper loaded.
  • Check the printer's display screen for any error messages or prompts regarding the connection.

Access Printer Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings. This can typically be done through a touch screen or buttons on the printer.

Select Wi-Fi Network:

  • Look for the option to connect to a new Wi-Fi network.
  • Choose your new Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.

Enter Wi-Fi Password:

  • If prompted, enter the password for the new Wi-Fi network. Use the touch screen or buttons to input the characters.

Confirm Connection:

  • After entering the Wi-Fi password, confirm the settings and let the printer attempt to connect to the new network.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page from your computer or the printer itself to ensure that the connection is successful.

If the printer is still not connecting, you may try the following additional steps.

  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Restart the Router: Power cycle your router by unplugging it, waiting for about 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in. This can often resolve connectivity issues.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check for firmware updates for your HP Envy Pro 6455 printer on the HP website. Updating the firmware can sometimes improve compatibility and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check Wi-Fi Settings on the Router: Ensure that the new Wi-Fi network has the same security settings (WPA, WPA2, etc.) as the previous one. If there are differences, update the printer settings accordingly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
