Hello. I am experiencing an issue with connecting to my printer from my computer through Wi-Fi. I downloaded the Full Web Pack, because... Well, because it has to have the drivers and everything to enjoy using the HP printer.
However, when I run it, when I try to install the driver, I see the prompt asking which way I want to connect my printer with: Wi-Fi, wired (I think, there are 2 choices Ethernet and USB; long story short: I joined the troublesome computer remotely and can't set it up. Remotely.) and the last option is to connect it later, which, basically, cancels the installation.
When I click to connect through Wi-Fi, I am being asked to set up the printer - that is, to connect it to Wi-Fi, but another computer on the same network can print from the printer just fine, and there are no issues with printing from it whatsoever. However, that other computer runs another version of Windows, and so... There's no way to share the driver.
So my question is: why does the printer not want to connect to the 2nd computer? Why can't it find the printer? The installer shows the proper network name, so it does connect to the same network as the printer, but it still can't find the printer!..

@tr0ubl3mak3r, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Are you trying to install it on a Win 10 PC?
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- Either 2.4GHz network or a 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win 10 PC(Wireless connectivity)
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Sorry for a late reply. I could finally run the HP Print Doctor only today.
So, I ran it, and the first thing it said is that it's not set as the default printer. OK, I press "Yes" when it was asking me if I want to set it as default, and... Nothing. I can't advance by clicking "Yes". So the only option for me was to select "No". Which I did. Then it told me I need to install the printer driver. Tried to install the printer driver it would offer me. Installed that. On the final screen there, it was saying something like "can't connect to the printer. Please retry." (Sorry, the text was too small, not comfortable to read.) At this point, it should have opened the webpage (no idea what page, but... Whatever.) and so it failed to install the driver, basically. I tried to run this program multiple times, from many different locations, as admin and as a regular user, still the same result. "Driver is unavailable". I even tried sharing the printer, but all it shares is the scanner, not printer. (Any idea why? Maybe if I share it from another computer, it would work fine?)
Please help me, I feel desperate, I feel... Useless, pretty much, at this point. I try to make it work, but whatever I do, nothing helps. Why does it work on one computer, but not on another, using the same settings, the same Wi-Fi, and everything, just... One computer is of the older generation, one is of the newer generation... And maybe the OS versions (even though both run Windows 10) That's the only differences between the two.

Did you try installing the HP Smart app?
Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win 10 PC(Wireless connectivity)
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Alternatively, you may perform a clean reinstallation of pre-installed HP drivers
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
- Select your HP Printer
- Select Uninstall
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
- In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
- Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the “Drivers” tab
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
- Select Ok
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
- Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Try printing
Let me know how this goes.
