Hi,
So I'm trying to install my OfficeJet 4500 All in one printer, however, the "Install Wizard" won't recognize that I have the printer connected via USB Cable. When I open Device Manager the Printer is recognized, however with a Yield sign. I've tried updating the Drivers FROM the Device Manager online as well as searched for Drivers from the computer itself. I've done all the "turn it off unplug it and back on again stuff". I don't understand how I'm supposed to get this thing to work if the Installer won't even recognized it's plugged in but Windows does.

Welcome to HP Forums, I see that you are getting USB connection issue.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor
Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to automatically diagnose and resolve printer hardware and connection issues.
If your printer is not found on the Choose Your Product step, click My product is not listed for steps to connect the printer.
Uninstall and reinstall the HP driver and software
Perform root level uninstalltion to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.

- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.

Download and install full feature driver for the printer
Click here to download full feature driver.
(Note: Connect the printer USB cable when notifies during printer driver installation)
Let me know how it goes.
