HP LJ Pro MFP M130nw

Hi all,

I tried to perform a firmware upgrade (HP_LaserJet_Pro_MFP_M130_M132_Ultra_MFP_M134_Printer_20211215.exe) to my M130nw, which unfortunately fails.

After turning off the printer and turning on again, the display shows "Ready 2 Download".

When I start the FW upgrade executable again, I can see the file spooling, then the display on the printer shows:

- Downloading

- Erasing

- Fatal Error 7

then it reboots and comes back to "Ready 2 Download".

I tried to reset to factory defaults by pressing "Right Arrow" + "X" and turning the printer on, but it ignores that and goes again to "Ready 2 Download" display message.

Further ideas highly welcome! Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this link. The described solution worked and the printer is back online with the older firmware that can be downloaded from there!
