HP Recommended

This is not a critical question. The printer is working normally.

For some reason, the paper size in my LaserJet 2100TN (ca. 1998) has been reset to US Letter. Setting it back to A4 will minimise the risk of paper jams (because the paper is otherwise longer than the printer expects in its timing).

HP Utility won't recognise the printer (not in OS 12.6 Monterey and not in OS 10.10 Yosemite).

I can telnet to the JetDirect card (in OS 10.10, though not in OS 12.6, as telnet has been removed). But paper size is not an option.

VirtualBox for ARM (M1 Mac) will not open (still in development), so I cannot run my Snow Leopard VM.

I don't have access to any Windows computers.

Is there any workaround I can use to tell the printer to expect A4?
