HP LaserJet Flow MFP E52645 - I am trying to install a new hard drive and have the following errors, can anyone help me.
The Hard Drive is a SATA Hard Drive - Western Digital WD5000LUCT AV 500GB 5400RPM 16MB Cache (7mm) SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal 2.5inch Notebook Hard Drive.
I have loaded it, did a partial clean, did an erase and unlock, did a format, re loaded firmware. But now I am getting this error code - error 99.09.60 unsupported disk. Can anyone please please help me with this.
Many thanks, Chris.

If the machine is less than a year old you should be able to get it fixed, regardless of the generation of owner you are. An authorized shop simply has to confirm the serial number of the device.

You can only use a SED (self-encrypting) SATA drive on these models. It is a security feature. Seagate makes one but it is nearly impossible to find except from HP directly. I think they must buy all the stock that Seagate makes. Do not bother trying an SSD either. Support for SSD was only introduced with the next generation printers. HP Part number L41606-011. if your device was manufactured between December 5, 2019 and December 31, 2021, I encourage you to contact HP regarding replacement under a service advisory. It will depend on your serial number and your original drive should have part number 933853-010. Other condition is that the unit failed with a 49.38.0C or 49.48.0D

What is the manufacturing date on the back? Purchase history is irrelevant when it come to a service advisory.

If date on the back is December 2022, you are still under warranty and you should contact HP directly or find a service partner in your area as this will be 100% covered under warranty.
