Product: HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Having successfully set the time and date on the HP LaserJet M1217nfw MFP printer control panel, I powered off and then powered on the printer. The time and date reset back to default (I think that was 00:00  01/01/2007).

I guess it's likely to be the internal battery that's gone flat.

Is there any information on how to replace the battery please?

What's the battery part code for the HP LaserJet M1217nfw MFP printer please?

Most of these devices will have a button cell soldered to the main board. They were never designed to outlive the life of the battery.
