Hello everyone,
I recently switched to a Macbook (14 pro) with macOS Sonoma. I'm having trouble properly configuring my HP LaserJet MFP M436dn multifunction device. After connecting it via USB to the Mac, a generic driver was installed, not a dedicated one. The device prints, but the print quality is much worse than on the previous laptop with Win 11. Additionally, I cannot add it as a scanner - this option is inactive in MacOS. I looked for drivers on the HP website, but MacOS is not on the list. And here I am asking you for help in this situation. What should I do to improve the print quality (I changed the printer settings to print at 600 dpi already) and how to connect it as a scanner on Mac?
Unfortunately, I cannot connect it via an Ethernet cable.
