Receiving an error message when trying to install the basic driver for LaserJet P1005 with Windows 10 64-bit Slovak. Downloading "ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe" goes fine as is running the file up to and including the terms and conditions. On "Preinstalling the driver files ..." I got the following error message:
"Printer Software Installer has stopped working
A problem made the software stop working correctly.
The software will be shut down and you will be notified if there is any solution to the problem."
I have checked other threads on the same topic on the forum (e.g.
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/HP-LaserJet-P1005-installation-failure-on-W... or https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/HP-LaserJet-P1005-installation-process-wo...) but those solutions have not worked for me.
Please help.
