For the longest time I have strugled with my LaserJet printers inability to keep it's drivers straight. Many tickets have been made and many solution chains are available. All require advanced knowledge on drivers, A LOT of elbow greese, going to 12 different files to edit things or deleting an equal amounth of things in whoknowswhere. All this for a printer that doesn't even know what WIFI is....
I have a ink based Canon printer from a dead relative waiting next to the LaserJet, that I have confirmed to work without as much as a squek. I try LaserJet one more time, then it's off to the recycling center. So....
How to I get my LaserJet to talk with my Windows 10 (64 bit)?
Stuff I have tried already:
HP LaserJet Pro M1132 Multifunction Printer without mechanical issues, hums to life as always had.
No issues with USB connection. Windows sees the printer, gets it's name correctly, but classifies it as "other" among keyboards and monitors. No other USB-device has problems with use.
Windows problem solver changes nothing, complains the lack of HP EWS and scanner drivers. Windows default scanner program acts like nothing is there to scan with.
HP "Smart" fails detection and installation. Searching USB printers changes nothing, as it claims nothing is connected.
HP Print and Scan Doctor sees the printer, but does nothing else. Provided link to the software is dead (500 error). Neither version (offline/online) works.
Downloading the drivers from support request 7380611#M175834 solution and starting the installation does nothing beyond some unstuffing a zip-file. Nothing happens after this.
Stopped following the previous answer's guide after not understanding the
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
as there was nothing to click. Just a mess of text.
So... Scrapyard or redemption?

Hi,
Please unplug the USB cable, be sure to remove any device added of your printer (Start > Settings (Gear icon) > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
Next, download and extract the latest drivers below:
If the installation extracts but doesn't open, follow below steps to launch the software and complete its setup, only connect the USB when the installation wizard guide to do so:
Shlomi
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.

Still nothing after the extraction.
This is what the solution refers to:
HP LaserJet Pro M1130 \ M1210 Multifunction Printer Series:
C:\M1130MFP_M1210MFP_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe
This is all I see in downloads:
HP_M1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution-v20180815-10158769 (application)

This is the path of the extracted file.
Right-click the Start button and select Run, then paste the following and press OK to launch the installation:
C:\M1130MFP_M1210MFP_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
