HP LaserJet Pro M125rnw (CZ178A)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I have a two windows 10 PC on the network with an ASUS RT-N11P router. Previously, the M125rnw was connected to one of them via usb and printed/scanned normally. Then after the windows 10 update from June 18, 2020 (from 1909 to 2004), the printer stopped printing and still doesn't do it. Tasks simply disappear from the print queue without any effects. What has been done.

1) Drivers were reinstalled many times (15.0.15310.1316 basic and full).

2 )Updated firmware to 20200531.

3) The printer was connected via both usb and wi-fi.

4) Ports were changed (ip standard port and hp standard port).

5) Windows 10 printing troubleshooter says no problem.

6) DISM, sfc and chkdsk say no problem at all. Win10 updated.

7) Hp print doctor goes through all the steps, comes to printing the test page, and it's not there. It prints further diagnostic information, it is printed (both via wi-fi and usb). After that, he writes about a permanent error in the software and offers to remove the HP SOFTWARE.

Afer ALL:

A poor solution was the following-an old PC with Windows 7. there the m125rnw printer connects and successfully works over wi-fi. Then it is shared over the network. Then the PC with Windows 10 connects to the shared printer M125rnw on Windows 7 AND successfully PRINTS.

What should I do in this situation? I need direct printing without participation in the 3rd PC network (this Win 7 PC is in another room and does not belong to me and sometimes turns off. As a result, both PCs are left without a printer again). How do I fix the printing? A rollback to 1909 where everything worked is no longer possible. Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Let me know if this helps.
