HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Hello everyone

I have the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn all in one printer, connected with ethernet cable.

- With the MacbookPro 13” Intel chip (OS Mavericks 10.14.6) everything worked perfectly

- Unfortunately,  with the new MacbookPro 14" Apple M1 Pro chip (OS Monterey 12.3.1),  the mac installs the "HP LaserJet MFP M129-M134-AirPrint" driver

with which  the "Economode" print function, the choice of print resolution and manual paper feed no longer work.

The “HP Smart” SW also loads the same driver, resulting in the same malfunctions

Thank you very much for your help

Hello everyone

I solved my problem by myself, by pure chance
If it can be of help to someone, I thought I would indicate below the procedure followed:

- I removed the printer in "System Preferences"=Printers by typing: "-".

- I downloaded the SW HP "Easy Admin" from:

         https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06164609#one_download_EasyAdmin

- setting in "Easy Admin" Operating System and Language, the SW found the driver "hp-printer-essentials-B-5_16_5_7.pkg".

- I installed the pkg

- in "System Preferences"=Printers I typed: "+".
i avoided to install the driver suggested by mac,
but I searched and selected the driver "HP LaserJet MFP M129-M134" driver in the list of drivers provided by the mac.

Now everything works perfectly

Thank you for your kind attention
