Hello! THanks in advance for any help you may offer to me.
We have a 5 year old HP Laserjet CP1025nw that used to be connected to a network...
Long story short, some networkers came to make adjustments (change routers, change IP addresses, etc) and now the printer cannot connect wirelessly.
If I plug in the USB to a computer, it prints with no problems.
I have factory reset the device, and when I print the connection details, the DHCP says 0.0.0.0 but it still shows as connected to the wireless.
I have deleted the printer, and all its drivers from the computer I've been trying to connect it to. I have double checked that I have downloaded the latest driver for the right printer. I can install the printer with no problem to print via USB, but it refuses to connect to the wireless. I've done both automatic and manual set up, and I have tried using WPS, but neither of these have proven to be successful...
I have since then taken the printer to my home, to a computer and network it has never connected to before. In order, I factory reset the printer, downloaded the drivers, installed the printer, and it still will not connect to the network. The blue Wireless signal just blinks... At least at the office it turned solid blue (although it was not connected to anything at all).
I am about ready to give up and say the wifi is doomed, but I don't see how this could be when it was printing perfectly fine prior to the network people coming in... They have no clue what is wrong either..
Is there anything else I can try?

Greetings @Nelliel,
Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are able to print over USB but are unable to configure the printer over wireless, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Are you using a dual band router? (HP printer work on 2.4Ghz and not 5Ghz)
Have you installed the full feature software on your computer? (USB connection)
If you have installed the full feature software on your computer and are able to print over wireless, refer to this HP Article to convert the existing USB connection to wireless.
Let me know if this helped.

Thanks for getting back to me!
Yes, I can print over USB but not wireless.
Both the routers are indeed dual band, but they are both set to 2.4Ghz. So I dont think this is the issue.
I have installed the full feature software, and tried converting the printer to wireless as well, and this also didn't work. Yeserday, I managed to put the printer into ad-hoc mode and it reset all the IP addresses to 0.0.0.0 (Previously, 192.168.5.36 but my network is 192.168.1.x -- same with the office network. This puzzled me). It still can't connect to the wireless, however.

Thanks for the reply and providing more information.
Is the printer connected to 2 routers?
A printer would be able to work that way or with a range extender.
Please have the printer and the computer on the same router.
Follow the procedure mentioned below to remove the printer software and settings and install it back.
Uninstall the printer from "programs and features" which can be accessed by doing a right-click on the Windows button (Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)
Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it. (Right click on the Windows button to access device manager)
Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.
Click on print server properties.
You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.
Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.
Restart the PC.
Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,
Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.
It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files, ignore them.)
If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.
Restart the PC again.
Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.
Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.
Once it is working fine over USB, convert it to wireless and check.
Let me know if this helped.

Hello again!
No I do not have the printer connected to two routers. As mentioned in the first e-mail, I could not get it to work at my office, so I took it home to a computer AND network that it has NEVER been connected to before.
I proceeded to reset the printer, and do everything from scratch.
The result: It still doesn't work.

Thank you! I understand the buttons of the control panel -- your instructions required a right arrow button and a display panel, which this model features neither.
I have already reset this model in the way the manual says to do so. This did not resolve the printer issue.
