Hello! THanks in advance for any help you may offer to me.
We have a 5 year old HP Laserjet CP1025nw that used to be connected to a network...
Long story short, some networkers came to make adjustments (change routers, change IP addresses, etc) and now the printer cannot connect wirelessly.
If I plug in the USB to a computer, it prints with no problems.
I have factory reset the device, and when I print the connection details, the DHCP says 0.0.0.0 but it still shows as connected to the wireless.
I have deleted the printer, and all its drivers from the computer I've been trying to connect it to. I have double checked that I have downloaded the latest driver for the right printer. I can install the printer with no problem to print via USB, but it refuses to connect to the wireless. I've done both automatic and manual set up, and I have tried using WPS, but neither of these have proven to be successful...
I have since then taken the printer to my home, to a computer and network it has never connected to before. In order, I factory reset the printer, downloaded the drivers, installed the printer, and it still will not connect to the network. The blue Wireless signal just blinks... At least at the office it turned solid blue (although it was not connected to anything at all).
I am about ready to give up and say the wifi is doomed, but I don't see how this could be when it was printing perfectly fine prior to the network people coming in... They have no clue what is wrong either..
Is there anything else I can try?
