HP Laserjet P1005
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The LaserJet P1005 is stuck in installation on windows 10 64 bit. I downloaded the English drivers.

I came across that page, the solutions did not work.

 

The right drivers for the operating system is english but it runs forever without no error message.

 

"Device Connected, Waiting for PnP to finish Installing Driver"

HP Recommended

This likely occur due to using an incorrect installation source, not for your OS type or for the correct locale settings of your printer.

 

You should find a log file under C driver, named as HPLJP1000_P1500_Series.log

 

Please provide the log information for a better understanding of any possible cause.

Make sure the printer is not connected to your PC and restart the computer, then try installing below drivers and let me know if you may see any different results:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL21058/bi-55362-7/ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe

It appears to be doing the same thing. It goes on and on, no error message whatsoever.
