Good morning,
My HP LaserJet P1505 printed the last page fine, then stopped working.
I unplugged the power and USB cables.
Previously, when I turned it on, the printer would run a test cycle and, I think, a warm-up cycle. I could hear the rotation of the rollers and other mechanisms, I think related to loading paper. Then, a low-toner warning LED would come on, but it was still usable.
Now, when I turn it on, I can only hear the rotation of the rollers for about 6 seconds, then the printer turns on only the Ready LED, but it doesn't perform any commands. Even pressing the test page button doesn't do anything. Even when I remove the toner and turn it on, the behavior is the same: the rollers rotate, then only the Ready LED stays on.
The only sign of life is that when I plug in the USB cable, the computer makes a connection sound. What's the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Fabio_L32
On the Windows7 PC is already installed the software 20130415 (1.02.2680) with all the printer drivers, which was working well. This software has no diagnostic tools.
I have a printer that does not perform the autotest when switched on, neither prints the test page pressing the key on its control panel.
HP does not provide support or software for this old printer any longer.
Is it available somewhere the latest version of the printer firmware ?

Hello @FulvioG65
No, due to obsolescence, it is no longer available.
