My Lazerjet Pro 1102 printer is no longer working. An investigation on the driver says it is unavailable and I am not presented with options to be able to uninstall (so that I can reinstall it). Nothing material changed on my laptop (also an HP) since the last time the printwr worked a week or two ago. Can anyone please help

Try to install with the next driver:

>> HP LaserJet Pro P1102 Software and Driver

Thank you so much - this worked for me well. I did have to force uninstall the existing driver before as this driver install was failing initially. But once that was done - installed cleanly and the printer is back up and running. Most appreciated.
