Good moring HP SUPPORT.
I'm trying to install the drivers of the printer OFFICEJET 4500 in my computer with Windows 10, but unfortunately no sucess. I got all drivers and softwares, but during the installation after USB connection with the printer, the boxes BACK, NEXT and HELP don't appear and the intallation stops. I don't know why. I like this printer that's why I much need your help.

I'm the Jeet_Singh & I'm at your service.
As I understand you are having issues installing the printer. Don't worry as I have a few other steps which should help you resolve this issue.
Have you tried to use different USB cables/ different USB port?
For troubleshooting on USB ports, please follow this link: HP PCs - Troubleshooting USB Connections (Windows 10, 😎
Alternatively you can try to uninstall the printer and then do a clean install of the printer software:
First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
Restart your computer.
Now click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers (Please enter the product number and then select the Operating system and version of windows before downloading and installing the printer software.
Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and retry, follow the steps below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Then, use this link to access the HP website, find the drivers compatible with your windows and install it: www.hp.com/drivers

This should do the trick for you.Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue.
The trick is to remain patient, Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat. 🙂

Installed Windows 10 two days ago and was dismayed to find it disconnected the Officejet 4500 Printer i use. when i find the time and the patience, i will use your instructions to reboot so i can get some articles off the internet. Thank you for having this posted.
