HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

The printer will not run over wifi.  I use to do so without hesitation.  The printer was on the correct wifi network.  I unplugged  the printer and computer (iMac) from the power source (for several hours), so they could be "rebooted".  Still nothing.  Thinking it could be a firmware issue with the printer, I deleted the original firmware for the printer from the applications folder and downloaded "HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer series Firmware Update", (a couple of times) and it will not load into my computer.  The timing wheel just runs. . .

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Welcome to the HP support community.

Are you trying to install a printer driver?

Which version of Mac Os is installed on your iMac?

Thank you for replying.  I have several MAC computers within the house.  The drivers are installed on all of the computers (Versions 10.13.6; 10.15.7, and 13.0.1) all operating over wifi.  If the printer is restarted (turned off and back on), then it will operate with one computer.  If the attempt is made to use another computer after the initial restart, the printer refuses to see the network and needs to be restarted again for each computer used.  The network is the same for all computers.  The error message received is:  "Looking for the printer", and "the printer is not connected", even though it shows up in all computer system preferences.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the HP software recommended for each individual computer.  I have also rebooted each computer each time the software is installed.

Any information or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
