HP OfficeJet 7510

I am trying to use compatible cartridges in my printer. but despite having tried different brands, used in other past HP printers, on this HP OfficeJet 7510 they all give me error. Although the cartridges are new and intact, printer gives me the message "One or more cartridges are damaged, remove them and replace them with new ones". Blocking compatible cartridges is illegal in Europe and this problem should have been solved by HP with the firmware update in 2016. In reality, despite having installed the firmware "OJ7510_1829B" released on August 3, 2018, the printer does not allow me to use compatible cartridges. How can I solve the problem?

Hi @dard76

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to help.

HP OfficeJet 7510 is not a Dynamic Security Feature enabled printer. Here's the list if you's like to know more.

Have you tried these steps - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge yet?

If the issue still persists, it could be an issue with the Printhead, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
