Microsoft Windows Vista

Is there any way I can print to my HP OfficeJet 8022e printer using an older notebook running Windows Vista (32 bit)?

I couldn't found a driver for Windows Vista on the HP website.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Win vista is not a supported OS on the printer.

Try printing using HP Smart app from a phone or a Win 10 PC.

Hope that helps!

Hi Greenturtle

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Yesterday I found this solution in the HP Support Community:

There is no printer driver available to work on Win Vista OS on the HP Support site. You will have to upgrade the OS.

However, we can try to install the printer using Windows built-in driver

Refer to this document to know how. If your printer model is not available in the list, select Deskjet 990c or Deskjet 6980 printer and rename it at the end of the installation.

I tried the above solution using Windows built-in driver. The printer is now running on Windows Vista. 😊

Have a nice day!
