OfficeJet Pro 9012
Microsoft Windows Server 2019

Hi, I have purchased a small OfficeJet Pro 9012 for use in one of our departments. I have other OfficeJet products on our network, which run with the Universal Print Driver. However, when I've tried to setup the 9012 with the universal driver we are using for other products (and also the latest version), the printer does not print correctly. Our current setup uses PCL6, I've also tried setting up the printer with the PS version of the driver. Still does not work. All our network printers are installed on a Windows Server 2019 dedicated print server. Users access the network via Remote Desktop onto Terminal Servers which are also Server 2019. I'd like the printer to be installed on the network and for them to select the printer for installation as necessary, by the department users. The HP Site does not offer any drivers for Server 2019 and I cannot seem to find just a driver file to install this. Has anyone been able to get this installed and working?

Hello,

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get this working? I've kept trying various drivers and settings but the printer just spits out rubbish text and not the document it should be printing.

Thanks in advance.

Did anyone have any luck with this? The best I found was an 8600 series driver which would work, but printed at about 1 minute per page, so not useable.
