Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e All-in-One Printer

HP 9135e  Purchased as renewed from amazon.  The Cyan ink continues to have an error, saying the cartridge is leaking or bad.   I have cleaned the terminals, reset the printer and it still will not work.   I purchased a new cartridge but it is not a setup one and won't work.    What can I do?   The setup cartridge is now gone from the cleaning person throwing it away so I can't use it and it didn't matter since it wouldn't work in the first place.   

any help appreciated.
