Host system:    Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition - Snapdragon X Elite (X1E80100)

When attempting to print any document, including the Windows test page, the print job is submitted to the print queue. The print job then shows in the print queue as 'Deleted' and is not sent to or received by the printer.

Troubleshooting steps already attempted:

  • Using Windows built in HP compatible driver - prints successfully, but not an acceptable solution as basic driver does not support all features of the printer (duplex, print quality, paper types, borderless printing etc.)
  • Printing using a different computer - printing is successful using the same version of the SUPD on an x64 based Windows 11 machine.
  • Uninstall and reinstall of drivers - no change, printing still fails, printing still fails with same associated errors
  • Using previous versions of SUPD (from windows update catalogue - no change, printing still fails with same associated errors
  • Reinstall of Windows from recovery image, installing printer drivers before any other apps or updates -  no change, printing still fails with same associated errors
  • HP Print and Scan Doctor / diagnosis via HP Smart app - software fails to complete its assessment (pos. not compatible with ARM64 systems)
