Tested on 2 devices:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Android 11
Samsung A20e, Android 11
BlueTooth pairing ok, WiFi Direct discovery ok
I've tried it first to print via BlueTooth like it used to function on the Officejet 150 Mobile. Was not able to print anything, then i read on this community that BLE is used as a helper for WiFi Direct print.
It's pretty ease to get the printer discoverd by WiFi Direct on my Android tablet. But no printing ...
I added the HP Print Service plugin app, even added HP Smart app.
When i send something (document, pîc, anything, ...) to the WiFi direct printer (the 250 mobile) I get the annoying message "this printer isn't available right now".
I finaly tried with the Samsung Mobile Print app. This doesn't return any error, but it doesn't print anything neither.
Are there Android devices out there that are able to print to this piece of junk?
Maybe it works on Android 10, or maybe something crucial is missing.
But honestly, HP, why the hell making it so complicated: instead of just using BlueTooth?

We understand printer supports on WIFI issues
Wi-Fi Direct is a printing-only connection option available with most HP wireless printers released in 2014 and later. Use Wi-Fi Direct if connecting through a local Wi-Fi network is not an option or for guest printing.

hi i have the Officejet mobile 200 i use it via Wi-Fi its works perfectly.
if you press the Wi-Fi icon button on the right of the panel then you should see wifi setup then go to your phone and then to settings then to Wi-Fi and you should see Hp Officejet 250 and the password should be 00000000 and then you can print from that.
i have used it with a Samsung galaxy s21 ultra 5g & Samsung galaxy tab s6 - Asus Rog phone 2
they all work fine.

Ok, thank you for the reply!
I talked to someone at HP Support, and she confirmed this.
She confirmed the only stable way to print to this device is using an OTG usb cable.
In my opinion this is not a mobile printer. The Officejet 150 was a mobile printer, which was capable of printing using a BlueTooth connection.
I asked for a refund of our reseller.
I also suggest to rename this printer: if HP would rename Mobile into USB OTG or just drop Mobile, it would be more acceptable.
